Currently, I am a Senior at The University of Tennessee majoring in Sociology and minoring in Elementary Education. I plan to graduate in May of 2012, from there I plan to take classes over the summer to obtain my Masters in Education. I will be student teaching starting in the fall of 2012, my placement is in the Urban/Multicultural cohort. I look forward to finally becoming a teacher and having my own classroom!

My Learning Goals for this Course
Throughout this class I hope to learn:
how to use all aspects of google/google docs
how to work a Mac (this is a big one)
what a wiki is
I hope to gain a better grasp on all current technology available inside the classroom. I hope to practice ans use the tools I learn in TPTE486, so that when I am in my own classroom I am fully capable of implementing these skills and tools I have learned.
